It was my second semester of my freshman year. I walked into my Tuesday and Thursday Speech class. It was a general education class with a student teacher and I wasn’t all that excited for the class. I found a seat on the second to the last row in the middle of the room. Little [...]  
Ivy is five – and all day she reminded us that it was her birthday and that she is five. Oh the list of things that she can and will do now that she’s five! I’m crossing my fingers that her “now that I’m five I’m going to do whatever you ask me to do” [...] 
And the winner was not Jade. But she and Ivy had a blast playing in the snow. They were out there for over an hour. Needless to say they were soaked through to the bone. Nothing a little hot chocolate couldn’t cure. Oh and in case you were wondering, when Scott makes hot chocolate for [...] 
When I was a little girl, Santa came to visit us on Christmas Eve. He would bring us our Christmas PJ’s and we’d all get to sit on his lap. It was always a wonderful time and we were always so excited when he’d show up. Some years it would [...] In our house there won’t be any more babies, unless they come to visit with their mom and dad. So my girls don’t have very many opportunities to hold a baby and I have to capture the moment when they do. We welcomed our new niece into the world on Friday.
