Meet Amy

I have struggled with the answer when asked, "What do you do?" and it isn't work-related. Ultimately, we settled on that I find things and untangle things. But I also read (a lot), pretend to wake surf, and watch Hallmark films.

The Weekend Away
it was amazing
So so good! Orla and Kate are long-time best friends off on a girls' weekend away. Kate is a bit of a player who is trying to get back at her soon-to-be-ex, causing her to spend frivolously and do drugs and hook-ups. Orla is a new mom ex...

Maybe Next Time
really liked it
Parts were a screaming 5 and parts were like “what?” And just irritated me. It is a Groundhog Day premise about a family of four - the mom is caught up in her own life and missing all that is going on around her with her kids and then he...

I read some blogs this week, and I liked it

As part of this great 31 Day Challenge to Build a Better Blog, I’m supposed to write a post that shares some link love.  I always love going to other blogger’s “link love” posts and I’m super thrilled when I find one of my posts included.  So this week, and who knows, maybe it will become a new thing for me, I’m going to share some of my favorite posts from this week…

She just got the most amazing job and shares with us the details.

She just got a new computer and she’ll be doing great family home evening lessons again.  (Thess lessons teach gospel principals in a way that even the little kids can understand).

I would love to throw a Wizard of Oz party like she does.  Actually, if only I could throw any party like she can.

This post sums up girls camp perfectly, and reminds me why I am glad I’m no longer in the young womens organization at church.

If you are in need of a good laugh I highly recommend this vlog from Depressions and Confessions

Are you for or against vaccinations?

A divorced mom has many challenges to deal with, Camille lays it out beautifully and filled with faith.

Lastly, if you are trying to help your daughters determine their path for life, Kristina gives some wonderful words of “advise”

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!!!

i’m also over here from 31DBBB! I agree with adriel – it’s added some nice interest to use banners in your link post. The only thing I could possibly suggest is to make the images link to the blogs, since the images stand out so much in this post.

Wonderful of you to highlight so many interesting new reads!

Hi from SITS 31DBBB! i love your list post and the way you used the blogs’ banners. That is definitely EXTRA link love because it shows off their branding too. Nice! I’m looking forward to checking a couple of these out. Thanks so much! 🙂

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Loralee’s new office is just too… I can’t even talk because of the drool. I love boxes and crafts.

I love that we are all finding so many great blogs through the 31 DBBB! I love how you put their headers in the post, it really made it unique and more fun to look at than a regular old list! 😀

I hoped the headers would spark more interest than just a link. 🙂 Hope it worked.
