Meet Amy

I have struggled with the answer when asked, "What do you do?" and it isn't work-related. Ultimately, we settled on that I find things and untangle things. But I also read (a lot), pretend to wake surf, and watch Hallmark films.

The Weekend Away
it was amazing
So so good! Orla and Kate are long-time best friends off on a girls' weekend away. Kate is a bit of a player who is trying to get back at her soon-to-be-ex, causing her to spend frivolously and do drugs and hook-ups. Orla is a new mom ex...

Wordful Wednesday - Martha Graham Dancers

Friday we had the opportunity to attend the Martha Graham Dance Company’s performance that they put on for the schools.  I took a few pictures but I was really far away.  The first two pictures were from the first dance of the performance.  The last one was a dance performed by the U of U dancers.  They performed one of Martha Graham’s dance numbers.  It was really fun to see and learn a little bit about the mother of Modern Dance.

Jade went with me and when the 45 minute performance was over, I asked her what she thought of it.  She answered “It was short and awesome!”  Afterward we went for Pizza at the old Pie Pizzeria.  Jade’s cousin, Emily, wasn’t thrilled with the Pie and said it wasn’t a place she wanted to go back for a second time.  Jade was picky but ended up enjoying it.
